A brilliantly well put together young stallion of the modern type. MASCARPONE catched the eye at first glance, having that elusive special something in various respects. Obviously there was the color, and with it the guarantee of special colors in his offspring. As son of two Palominos he produced 100 % buckskin, Palomino or Smoky, depending on the color of the mare put to him.

Quite apart from his rare color and the guarantee of unusually colored foals he had three outstanding paces, showing a tremendous amount of elasticity. Over a fence MASCARPONE was demonstrating superb technique, bascule and scope.

This really isn’t particularly surprising when considering his breeding, as we find some of the great jumping sires in his very Hannoverian-dominated pedigree. Carefully line-bred on his dam’s side, he combined the famous line of the Trakehner MARDUC, who is famous for siring horses of great rideability and Dressage talent, with his grandfather Morgengold I’s blood, who is a top Showjumping stallion in Ireland.

On his dam-sire’s side we find PHILIPPO, who has won through to S level (4th) Dressage as well as combining predominantly jumping blood. 4-times line-breeding to the outstanding Jumping-sire FERDINAND combined with famous sires DOMSPATZ and GRANDE to complete the picture of a supreme pedigree.

His nobility was partly due to the Anglo-Arab influence, and his offspring have been awaited with considerable excitement. He fulfilled all dreams and produced a lot of premium awarded and top class winning offspring.

MASCARPONE was worldwide the only approved cremello Warmblood stallion. He gave you the guarantee of a Palomino, buckskin or Smoky Warmblood foal.

Due to a freak accident MASCARPONE died on December 26, 2001.
